Clifton Coffee Roasters – Customer of the month
However one of the things we are always conscious – and guilty of is not communicating enough about our customers and all the great things they do.
These are the people that ultimately drive our business and push us to do better, for which we are eternally grateful.
One such customer has recently joined us in central London and are doing a fantastic job of showcasing our coffees in the best possible light.
Kin Cafe is a small but perfectly formed cafe in the heart of Fitzrovia on Foley Street founded by Charlie Meadows & his father on a simple idea but with some strong principals of serving honest, fresh & healthy vegetarian food in comfortable surroundings. The cafe itself, with its array of outside tables drenched in sunshine is a bright & contemporary fit-out with a Scandinavian influence. Clean lines, white walls & splashes of their signature grey makes the space look & feel as if it was designed with our recent rebrand in mind… purely by accident of course.
Our relationship with Charlie & his team occurred rather by accident via a former member of staff, but Kin now retail a wide range of our single origin coffees alongside our seasonal EQ Espresso served up as their house blend.Head Barista Luke Byrne-Perkins not only delivers coffee with exceptional skills & hospitality but is also a modest expert in tea & cold brew. As a result, its no surprise that Kin’s range of loose leafs is pretty substantial and of the very highest quality.
Add to this a truly original and delicious menu of vegetarian food & delicious organic juices, there is definitely a health-conscious vibe here.As many of you know, most of our business is focussed around the South West, but increasingly we are attracting attention from small specialist independents such as these guys much further afield, and Kin perfectly embodies many of the brilliant customers we now find ourselves dealing with.
But perhaps one of the nicest things about arriving Kin however is the welcome. A space that looks & feels like our perfect idea of a neighbourhood hang-out, this little gem is breath of fresh air amongst the smog & pretence of some central London coffee shops.
Find them at 22 Foley St, London, W1W 6DT Tel: 0207 998 4720 Web: www.kincafe.co.uk Email: firstname.lastname@example.org… and be sure to say hello.
